LOGLINE
Two freshman make a bloody pact after their first college party ends in disaster.
SYNOPSIS
HUSH BABY follows Quinn, a freshman desperate to belong, who’s quickly pulled into the orbit of her magnetic roommate Madeline and sharp-tongued friend Taji. Their first college party ends in disaster when a late-night drive leaves a cyclist dead, and the girls make a pact to stay quiet. But silence has a cost. As guilt corrodes Quinn and Madeline spirals out of control, their friendship curdles into jealousy, chaos, and violence. By the time the truth threatens to surface, nothing between them can be saved.
TONE & COMPARABLES
HUSH BABY is intimate, volatile, and sun-drenched with dread - a story about silence: what it conceals, what it corrodes, and what it costs. Tonally, it blends the emotional rawness of Thirteen with the glossy menace of Big Little Lies and the aestheticized girl-world of early Euphoria. Like The Bling Ring and Spring Breakers, it follows young women slipping into darker territory, where friendship curdles into complicity.
